1988 – Audi has turned to circuit racing in the US TransAm series. The Quattro shines on the race tracks just as it did on gravel.  1989 – “Racing in the USA” tells the story of Audi stepping up from the TransAm series to IMSA racing, where life at the limit turns out to be even more challenging.  1990 – “It’s no Evolution, it’s a Revolution” Audi returns home to start a revolution in touring car racing with their V8 Quattro. Audi driver Hans Stuck is crowned champion in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft.
